These Terms of Service apply to your use of Salt & Bone Studio’s website at saltandbonestudio.com and purchases made through it. The store is operated by Salt & Bone Studios (“Salt & Bone Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By visiting our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. Products and handmade items

Salt & Bone Studio offers handcrafted coastal-inspired art, jewelry, décor, and other items. Products may incorporate natural materials, including shells and shark teeth. Because materials are natural and pieces are handmade, individual items may vary in appearance, shape, color, texture, and detail. Product photos and descriptions are intended to represent items as accurately as possible, but your screen may display colors differently.

Please review product descriptions, measurements, options, and photos carefully before ordering. Contact us with questions before purchasing.

2. Orders and payment

When you place an order, you agree that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to use the selected payment method. We may decline, limit, or cancel an order where permitted by law, including when a product is unavailable or an order appears to contain an error or unauthorized activity.

Prices are listed in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, discounts, and shipping charges are calculated or displayed at checkout. Prices and product availability may change without notice.

3. Processing, shipping, and delivery

Most orders are processed within 2–5 business days. Preorders are expected to ship within 7–10 business days. Orders are not shipped on weekends or holidays. Processing or delivery may take longer during busy periods or because of carrier delays.

Shipping charges are calculated and displayed at checkout. When an order ships, we’ll send a confirmation email with tracking information when available. Delivery estimates are not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or events outside our reasonable control.

4. All sales final; damaged or defective items

All sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or preference. Please review the product information carefully and contact us with any questions before ordering.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 3 days of delivery at saltandbonestudios@gmail.com. Include photos of the item and its packaging so we can assess the issue and, if appropriate, work with you on a solution.

5. Intellectual property

The website and its content, including text, photographs, product designs, graphics, logos, and other materials, are owned by Salt & Bone Studio or used with permission and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use this content commercially without our written permission.

6. Acceptable use

You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You may not interfere with the website’s operation or security, attempt to gain unauthorized access to an account or system, submit false information, or use the website in a way that violates another person’s rights.

The website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify and payment providers. Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services or content, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

To the extent permitted by law, Salt & Bone Studio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or a product purchased through it.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim relating to an order or the website will not exceed the amount you paid for the product or service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting a revised version on the website. The “Last updated” date shows when changes were made. Changes take effect when posted, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where applicable consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
